Indy Do Day - IHN participated in the inaugural Indy Do Day on October 10 by partnering with Kids Against Hunger to present a hunger education component for approximately 300 volunteers who then packed over 100,000 meals. Thanks to our sponsors Eli Lilly, Kroger and Exact Target.
Indiana State Fair – IHN and its partners staffed a booth in the DuPont Pavilion to share information about the hunger issue to fairgoers.
Voices Uniting to End Hunger Conference - held in February at Second Presbyterian Church to a crowd of 280+ people eager to learn more about the hunger issue in Indianapolis.
Leadership Breakfast - On October 16, 2012 - World Food Day - the Indy Hunger Network hosted a Leadership Breakfast at the Banker’s Life Fieldhouse to share with attendees the prevalent hunger issue in Indianapolis and how the Network is combatting this issue. Guest speakers included Mayor Greg Ballard, Jim Morris, President of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, and Jeff Simmons, President and CEO of Elanco.
