You may visit communitycompass.app/ to locate a food pantry or food distributions near you.
A Food Resource Navigator will assist visitors with locating food resources, and applying for food benefits such as SNAP/WIC and other programs. We provide one-on-one assistance to find other food service programs that fit your needs. Food Resource Navigators will be able to provide you with referrals to community resources to help you get the information you may need.
The Food Resource Navigator can also help with obtaining verification documents that are needed to apply for or receive food benefits and with submitting your verification documents to the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration by faxing, or mailing in those documents.
The Food Resource Navigator will help screen for food insecurity and hunger, and connect you with a short-term emergency food kit if needed. (Emergency Food Kits are only designed for true hunger and emergency needs) By connecting with a Food Resource Navigator, you will get connected to grocery assistance, free meal sites, and other food resources in your area.
