1-855-FOODROP
Food Drop makes it easier for truck drivers and dispatchers to donate rejected loads of food. When a load of unsalable, edible food is rejected due to logistical errors, imperfections, or other issues, truck drivers often have no option but to dump the load. With Food Drop, rejected loads can be accepted 24/7, and drivers receive tax deductible receipts for their donations. All food donations go to hunger relief organizations serving food insecure households in Indiana. Learn more at www.fooddropusa.org.
OUR PARTNERS
Food Drop is run by Indy Hunger Network, and was started in collaboration with four of IHN’s member organizations: Midwest Food Bank, Gleaners Food Bank, Second Helpings, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The work we do is made possible by the network of food banks and other hunger relief organizations across the state that partner with us to receive donated food, as well as the corporate partners, funders, and other organizations that support this project.
